Alabama’s Drunkest City Repeats As Champ

Who is Alabama's drunkest city yet again?! For some this may come as a surprise, but for most folks in Tuscaloosa - it seems pretty obvious.

Auburn football didn't win over the weekend (ROLL TIDE) -- but the city did, however, begin this Monday with a victory. For the second consecutive year, the Auburn/Opelika area took the crown for "drunkest city in Alabama." Side note: We understand that most of these drinkers are likely sick of the false hope AU brings the city.

According the 24/7 Wallstreet, more than 16% of adults in Auburn report heavy drinking or binge drinking, defined as at least five drinks for men and four drinks for women on a single occasion. Auburn's drunk numbers are 3% higher than the state average.

Per the study, the drunkest city in America is Appleton, Wisconsin, where 27 percent of adults report binge drinking! Check out the entire list here!
