Southern Ale House and Alabama Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (Alabama SPCA) are hosting an event geared toward pets and owners Saturday!

'Tails and Ales' is the Alabama SPCA's chance to raise awareness for neglected or abused animals while also raising much needed funds!

Bring your furry friends to Southern Ale House at 1530 McFarland Blvd North in Tuscaloosa, Saturday between 12-5 pm. Along with having a few animals available for adoption, they'll also host a Wiener dog race and a costume contest for pets and kids with special guest judge, Big Al!

The Alabama SPCA is an animal welfare organization based in Tuscaloosa but operates in all of Alabama. Their goals are to save abandoned, abused or injured pets from suffering by building a network of individuals willing to provide temporary foster care until a "forever home" can be found. They also work to help educate and inform the public through events like 'Tails & Ales.'
