The bye week for both Alabama and LSU turned into some trash talk coming from Baton Rouge. (You'd think these opponents would figure out that's a bad idea.) A few Bama players heard the talk and responded on social media - see ArDarius Stewart's tweet above.

Other Tide players avoided getting caught up in the weekly chatter.
"You still got to play the game and we'll see come Saturday. We really don't pay too much attention to that. We still got to practice and get better and get ready to go. They preach to us not to talk smack. We'll just let them do that, I guess," said Alabama left guard Ross Pierschbacher.

Tight end O.J. Howard had a similar response: "It's one of those things we just don't really get into," Howard said. "We just kind of speak on the field and let our play speak for itself. It's not much other than that we can say."
