South Alabama Man Accused of Killing His Own Brother

A South Alabama man has been charged with murdering his own bother last week.

According to reporting by alabamanow.com, the Baldwin County Sheriff’s Department responded to a call of a reported gunshot victim at a residence on Fort Morgan Road last Monday.

The authorities arrived to find the victim, who was identified as Jason Estabrook, in the front yard suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.

According to the report, authorities believe Jason and his brother James Estabrook had an altercation that led James to draw a handgun and shoot Jason three times.

Jason Estabrook did not survive his injuries. James Estabrook has been charged with his brother Jason’s murder and was placed in the Baldwin County Sheriff's Office but released on a $150,000 later last week.
