Alabama Football’s Impression on the Map of ‘Top 25 Fandom’

Who doesn’t like graphs and charts? Maybe, it’s just me, but these graphics often serve as fun eye candy. The people at Facebook have taken the Top 25 ranked college football teams and have illustrated by states across the nation on fans.

The map survey is based on people who ‘like’ a team’s official page. The page liked the most out of the Top 25 teams gets the stamp for their area as having the most fans. It is broken down in fine detail by county. However, some of the colors are so close that you have stare at the county and the key graph to the side to match it up. Still, fun.

It’s not shocking to see the Alabama Crimson Tide cover the state of Alabama. But, it is very interesting to see checkered coverage in other states like Virginia. It is also peculiar to see the Gators rule in Rhode Island, really?

Football is back and here’s another way we begin debates on who is the best! Well, we know who is the best and the rest just try to make their case.
