When Alabama Crimson Tide running back Trey Sanders committed to the Tide out of high school the 5-star prospect famously boasted he would win the Heisman Trophy as a freshman. Misfortune and adversity have plagued the Florida tailback since his arrival to Tuscaloosa but he is finally ready to make an impact on the Alabama offense.
In 2019, Robinson carried the ball 39 times for 259 yards and scored two touchdowns. His breakout game came against Western Carolina when he rushed for 92 yards on only eight carries. Robinson also led the Crimson Tide in rushing against New Mexico and showcased his speed with a 74-yard touchdown run.
Saban revealed that several veteran members of the Crimson Tide football program are were unable to practice today and appear unlikely to participate in the majority of spring practice.
