Here's the latest attempt from former Alabama and NFL superstar Henry Ruggs III and his attorneys to keep him out of jail. You get what you pay for, as they say. Clearly, Henry Ruggs, who spent a few years living here in Tuscaloosa, is paying them plenty of money. Ruggs lawyers are arguing that turning over medical records are a violation of "doctor-patient privilege".

Can we PLEASE go on record now, after my previous article, that Ruggs will probably never see a jail cell. I don't want this to happen. As much of a Bama fan as I am, and as much as I love Henry Ruggs as a player, I can separate these issues. Yesterday, Ruggs lawyers were in court in Las Vegas fighting to get the medical and toxicology reports sealed.

How far would you go for a friend? I would do anything for a close friend. Of course, I would go even further for one of my kids. How about you? Former Alabama assistant coach Joe Judge found himself answering questions about one of his players seemingly defending Henry Ruggs III.

Henry Ruggs was traveling at 156 mph and "slowed down" to 125 mph when the collision happened.

Henry Ruggs was doing 156 MILES PER HOUR. I don't believe my personal vehicle will go 156mph! Let that sink in for a moment. First off, I am a huge Alabama fan. I love football. I think Ruggs is one of the best wide receivers in Alabama history.
