Following Saturday's scrimmage, Nick Saban spoke to the media and while most of his post game press conference was filled with inquiries and answers about certain players' performances, one moment, in particular, stood out.

Nick Saban announced today the big 3 suspensions are NCAA-related.  "These were NCAA violations," Saban said. "With those things carry certain consequences. And those players knew the situation. They made poor choices and decisions. We will support the players every way that we can, but they will not be available to play for the rest of this season and maybe beyond...

It will be interesting to see how the offense will look without Kiffin.  Sarkisian has a similar background to Kiffin, but he’s not Kiffin. Again, put aside the jokes and REALLY stop and think about how crazy it is that Alabama named a new offensive coordinator just days before the BIG rematch with Clemson...

I was really excited to hear about O.J. Howard and Calvin Ridley both making the preseason watch list for the Maxwell Award.  There is no doubt Nick Saban has big plans for O.J.
