Weather Outlook for Friday, November 1, 2019

Happy Friday!  Most of our listening areas woke up to temperatures in the low 30’s. Brrrrrr.  I always ask Alexa when I wake up, “Alexa, what’s the temperature?”  In Tuscaloosa, it was 33 degrees.  I call this big coat weather.  Today, you can expect sunny skies with a high near 55.  Tonight, there will be clear conditions and low around 34.

The National Weather Service, for Pickens and Tuscaloosa counties,  has issued a Freeze Warning until Friday at 9 a.m. Also, there is a Frost Advisory in effect from Friday 11 p.m. until Saturday at 9 a.m.

Weekend Planning Outlook:  Saturday and Sunday are shaping up to have sunny skies and a high near 61.  Saturday night, there will be a chance for patchy frost with a low around 35.  Sunday night, the low will be around 39 with partly cloudy skies.

Don’t forget that Daylight Saving Time ends Sunday, November 3rd at 2 a.m.  This means the clocks will be set back one hour; in essence, we “Fall Back.”  I know I will enjoy the extra hour of sleep on Sunday.

Have a great weekend - @MaryKRadio
