Stan Pate’s $250,000 Mayor Walt Maddox Challenge

Tuscaloosa businessman & developer Stan Pate told the 953 Bear Steve Shannon Morning Show that he has a challenge for the mayor.

Pate said Mayor Maddox has referred to him in civic club speeches. Now Stan Pate has challenged Maddox to “put his money where his mouth is”.

Pate said if Mayor Maddox can prove that he (Pate) had funneled or contributed money to any of the current mayoral candidates or city council candidates, then he would pay Maddox $250,000 in hundred dollar bills.
