If the Alabama Crimson Tide softball team wants to return to the Women's College World Series after reaching the finals last season, they'll have to get past a familiar, tough opponent.  Just three years ago, Alabama faced the Oklahoma Sooners in the final of the WCWS. After the Sooners took Game 1, the Tide rallied to win the next two, including the famous "Dance in the Rain" game, to claim the program's first national championship.

The players have changed, but the coaches Patrick Murphy of Alabama and Patty Gasso are no strangers to each other, having worked together with Team USA and facing off as opponents multiple times over nearly 25 years.  Now, they head into another showdown with a spot in Oklahoma City on the line.

On Thursday, Murphy and infielder Danae Hays spoke to reporters about the Tide's test against the Sooners in this weekend's Super Regional in Tuscaloosa:

Remember, all of Alabama Softball's games can be heard on  95.3 The Bear ! First pitch of the Super Regional is scheduled for 6 pm CT on Friday night.
