Madison and Shepherd Introduce: FuzzyCat

This a a major and I mean MAJOR move for the Shepherd household. My wife and I have been married for 6 years and have never had a pet in or around our house. Our life changed yesterday.We would like to introduce "Fuzzy Cat". Named by our 5 year old Brody. We've been calling her "Fuzz". We were asked a couple weeks ago by our neighbor if we wanted one of her mom's kittens. I immediately said NO-WAY.  Brody was disappointed. He has asked for a pet before and I have never given in.

Our doorbell rang yesterday afternoon and our sweet neighbor kids were standing there holding a cute little kitten. I am still surprised at my reaction. The first thing I wanted to do was go get it some food and a water bowl. She slept in our laundry room last night on a bath towel.

I checked on her before bed last night and before I left for work this morning. She was playing with a thread on the floor when I left.  So I guess we are keeping her. Anyone know of a good Vet in town?
