Keeping in line with the record-breaking success of Luke Combs' second album What You See Is What You Get, the singer continues his upward climb as his latest single "Even Though I'm Leaving" tops Billboard's Country Airplay chart.

"Even Though I'm Leaving" rises 2-1 on this week's Country Airplay chart, extending Combs' record of seven straight No. 1 singles on the chart. The song has spent 15 weeks on the chart to date, and saw an increase of 12% in its audience to 41.5 million impressions, allowing it to take the top position from the previous week's chart-topper "What Happens In A Small Town" according to Billboard.

Combs wrote "Even Though I'm Leaving" with Wyatt Durrette and Ray Fulcher. The song is the second single from What You See Is What You Get and was previously included on Combs' EP The Prequel released in June. The album's lead single "Beer Never Broke My Heart" topped the Country Airplay chart in August for two weeks.

With Combs topping both Billboard's Country Albums chart and Billboard's Country Airplay chart, he becomes the first act to achieve this feat since Dan + Shay did so with their self-titled album and their song "Tequila" in July of 2018. Combs also becomes the first solo male country artist to top both charts since Blake Shelton in 2016, when Shelton's "Came Here to Forget" ruled the Country Airplay chart and his album If I'm Honest ruled the Country Albums chart.

What You See Is What You Get has had a successful week as it tops both Billboard's Top Country Album chart and Billboard's all-genre 200 chart. The album also achieved a record number of streams in its first week for a country album, with 70 million streams.

Combs will be embarking on his What You See Is What You Get Tour to support his sophomore LP. Dates and tickets can be found on his official website.
