ABC 33/40 meteorologist James Spann broke news on this morning’s 953 Bear Steve Shannon Show.

At 7:40 this morning Tuscaloosa County was added to the HIGH RISK category for very dangerous, strong tornadoes today.

Spann said the possibility of severe weather is from 1pm today until 2am.

Operation Storm Watch from 953 The Bear will provide breaking coverage all day and all night.
