Hiring Event Coming to Pickens County Later This Month

Jobseekers can connect with potential employers at a hiring event in the Pickens County city of Carrollton later this month.

West AlabamaWorks! will be at the Pickens County Service Center on Phoenix Avenue in Carrollton from noon to 4 p.m. on Tuesday, August 12th.

“We’re proud to bring this opportunity to Pickens County,” said Lauren Seale of West AlabamaWorks! “Events like this help bridge the gap between employers and the talented individuals ready to work, boosting our regional economy.”

Employers looking to hire in and around Pickens County can still register to participate online here.

As with other WAW hiring fairs, there will be opportunities for on-site interviews and some employers are expected to extend job offers in-person during the event.
