Kirk, from Akron, Ohio, was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident.

Three passengers in the BMW, all adults in their 30s, were injured in the wreck and hospitalized.

Three juveniles who were in the Ford were also hurt in the wreck, including an 11-montho-old and a 4-year-old who were airlifted by helicopter.

Bailey said the wreck took place on I-59 bear Mile Marker 27 in Greene County a few miles south of Boligee, Alabama.

Nothing further was available Saturday morning as State Troopers continue to investigate the deadly wreck.
