Boys & Girls Clubs Launches Hale County Summer Program
Parents in Hale County looking for a safe and engaging summer option for their children now have another opportunity to keep students active, learning and connected while school is out.
The Boys & Girls Clubs of West Alabama is hosting its Hale County Middle School Summer Program this summer for rising 6th through 9th grade students in Moundville.
According to the organization, the program will run from June 1 through June 30 from 8:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. each weekday at Hale County Middle School.
The program is designed to give students a summer filled with recreation, STEM activities, academic support, field trips and other enrichment opportunities in what organizers describe as a safe and supportive environment.
Families interested in registering should know there is a $25 registration fee and a $100 full summer fee. Friday field trips are included in the cost, and lunch and snacks will also be provided for students throughout the program.

Programs like this continue to play a major role for many West Alabama families during the summer months by giving students structured activities, educational support and opportunities to stay socially connected while parents work.
The Hale County Middle School unit is located at 120 Wildcat Way in Moundville.
Parents can learn more or register online through the Boys & Girls Clubs of West Alabama website.
