
Alabama Football Sees Major Transfer Portal Shakeup
The offseason is in full swing with the Alabama Crimson Tide football staff. Major moves inside the transfer portal and plenty of movement for the Tide.
There has been a significant amount of movement with the Alabama roster since the Transfer Portal opened January 2nd. Notable players leaving Tuscaloosa include WR Jaylen Mbakwe, DB Cam Calhoun, WR Jalen Hale are among the players who've decided to leave the Tide.
Also, DE Keon Keeley, WR Cole Adams, RB Richard Young, and a host of Offensive Linemen also choose to leave. You can see the full list of players transferring here.

Coach Derrick Nix
Alabama has secured a replacement for the Wide Receivers coaching staff in Derrick Nix. Nix spent the last two seasons at Auburn. Former Wide Receiver coach JaMarcus Shephard has move to be the Head Coach of Oregon State.
Kaden Strayhorn
We officially secured an offensive linemen. Kaden Strayhorn is a 6-foot-3, 318-pound offensive lineman from IMG Academy in Bradenton, Florida. He transferred from Michigan.
Hollywood Smothers
The RB room gets a new addition in Hollywood Smothers. Smothers led the ACC in rushing yards during the 2025 season with 939 yards and six scores averaging 5.9 yards per carry and 85 rushing yards per game for the Wolfpack. He is viewed as one of the top running backs who have entered the transfer portal.
