Have you enjoyed this nice weather? It’s been a little on the warmer side for Spring but no severe weather, so we will take it, right? Over the next few days, the temperatures will go from being 10 degrees above average and transition to below average for this time of the year.

Outlook for Friday

Friday for most of our area will be under partly sunny skies with a high around 80. Then a word no one wants to hear headed into a big sports weekend, rain.

James Spann, ABC 33/40, and Townsquare Media Tuscaloosa Chief Meteorologist said that for Friday “showers will enter the northwest counties of the state by late afternoon ahead of a cold front. Showers and a few thunderstorms are likely statewide tomorrow night; severe storms are not expected due to the lack of instability and weak dynamic support. Rain amounts for most communities will be 1/2 inch or less.”
