By the lines that you see at the Peach Cobbler Factory, you can tell that Alabamians are excited about this new business venture in town. I was one of those folks in the line waiting to have a taste of the newest place for sweets in town.

Located in the heart of the University of Alabama, right off The Strip behind Moe’s, you can find an interesting dessert concept. As I pulled up, I felt like it was my lucky day because the parking lot was packed but I snagged a parking spot in front of the doors.

Was this a sign?

It was nicely packed inside, and I saw folks puzzled over which treat to pick up. A couple was digging into their cobblers and they looked VERY happy! I figured the new adventure for Bite This! might just work out.

As I waited I studied the menu board, I got perplexed (thinking to myself, I should have done this at home), everything sounded divine. When it was my turn, I asked, the really sweet young ladies, what was the most popular and their favorites.

Based on recommendations, it was a hard decision but I landed on the Cinnamon Peach Praline.

Presentation:

I thought the whole vibe was really awesome. It was fun and bright. People were happy. The cobbler was nice and pretty. I looked like it was calling my name.

Let’s talk about the selfie wall. Super Cute!!!!!!! When I was there, everyone was getting their picture taken and getting “peachy.”

Taste:

After the first bite, I was in love. BABY, the pralines hit the spot. It was a great balance of cinnamon and peaches. Also, there was a scoop of vanilla ice cream in a separate dish. The greedy side of me wished there was a little bit more ice cream.

Texture:

It was rich and smooth at the same time even warm and comforting, even after the drive home. The pralines add another layer of nuttiness that balanced out the whole meal, I mean dessert.

Value:

My tab was under 10 bucks, so I thought it was a good deal.

Overall:

Let’s just say, I’ll be back. Maybe if I bring Steve and DC from 95.3 The Bear, I can skip the line! LOL
