Green, known for her strength, length, versatility, and rebounding ability, made a strong impression during her time in Tuscaloosa. Whether she was attacking the basket, defending, creating offensive lanes, rebounding, or assisting her teammates, Green proved  to be a steady and powerful presence on the court. Her basketball IQ and leadership made her an integral part of Alabama's success and a valuable pickup for the Mystics.

Her selection adds another chapter to a historic night for Alabama women's basketball. Green joins two Crimson Tide teammates - Sarah Ashlee Barker (No. 9 overall, Los Angeles Sparks) and Aaliyah Nye (No. 13 overall, Las Vegas Aces) - in the 2025 draft class.

Green now becomes part of an exclusive Alabama legacy, joining Linda Burgess, Cassandra Crumpton Moorer, Dominique Canty, Shalonda Enis, Niesa Johnson, Tausha Mills, LaNisha Cartwell, Shondra Johnson, Monique Bivins, Navonda Moore, Jasmine Walker, Brittany Davis, Barker, and Nye as Crimson Tide alumni drafted into the WNBA.

With her resilience and pro-ready game, Green is poised to bring energy and depth to the Mystics' backcourt.
