Starting defensive back Malachi Moore was interviewed by reporters following the Alabama loss to Tennessee in Knoxville.

Malachi opened with “We have to be honest with each other and continue to strive to be great everyday”

Reporters asked Moore how injuries impacted the defensive rotation this game. “It definitely impacted the rotation just cause new guys were in…our guys did a good job of being ready and being engaged. Moore continued, “They do the best they can, they come in and do a great job for us because they are locked in each week.”

Reporters stated that Deboer hasn’t lost a lot, and asked Moore how Deboer will rally the team after a big loss like this.

Moore said, “He told us straight up he’s not really good with those speeches after the game, after losing because he never planned for us to come in the locker room after a game and not be victorious.” Moore continued, “He gets us to rally together and really hone in on what’s in front of us.”

A short and sweet interview with the fifth year senior. Moore had 1 interception in tonight’s loss to the Volunteers, Alabama’s second SEC loss of the season.
