According to the SEC availability report, Derrion Reid will miss Alabama's Tuesday night game against Ole Miss due to an ankle injury.

Reid will miss his second game of the season. He previously missed Alabama's 105-82 victory over South Dakota State on December 29 with an ankle injury. Since that game, Reid played in the three victories for Alabama over Oklahoma, South Carolina, and Texas A&M. Reid averaged 16.7 minutes per game while scoring 10.3 points per game so far in SEC play for Alabama.

Alabama will also be without Houston Mallette and Latrell Wrightsell Jr., with reports indicating a potential medical redshirt for Mallette this season.

Tip-off between Alabama and Ole Miss is scheduled for 6:00 p.m. CT on ESPN U. The game's radio broadcast can be heard on Tide 100.9 and 95.3 The Bear.

The Crimson Tide will be down to nine scholarship players against Ole Miss with the losses of Reid, Wrightsell, and Mallette on Tuesday night.

In place of Reid, Alabama may choose to go with a smaller lineup, as Ole Miss typically runs with three guards. The Crimson Tide can potentially play with Mark Sears, Labaron Philon, and Aden Holloway on the court at the same time.
