Brandon Miller has already proven himself Tide-worthy during his first three games of the season and he is looking like one of Alabama's next top players. The freshman forward scored a fourth of tonight's game points with extreme shooting accuracy and athleticism.

Miller's stats were almost perfect, starting off being one of three players with flawless free throw stats, his being 6-for-6. Secondly, he put the first points on the board with a three-point shot and eventually went 4-of-5 at the end of the game.

His field goal average was 62% tonight, staying neck-and-neck with his previous 66% average against Longwood.

Miller is an exciting player to watch on the court. He is very strategic and it looks like he can read the other team's plays before they happen.

Miller has played both quarters as a freshman during the season so far. When asked how he stays so alive during the games, he said his teammates' cheers from both the court and on the bench give him the motivation to play his best game possible.

It's no secret this team has seen some serious upgrades from last season, even in the early season games. Head coach Nate Oats seems to be in agreement as well.

"We wanted more length, versatility, more depth. I mean, last year, kind of preach all the defense you want, there's nobody put in the game when they're not playing defense, it's hard to hold them accountable. We don't have that problem this year," said Oats.

The Alabama men's basketball team travels to Mobile, Ala., to take on South Alabama on Tuesday, November 15, 2022, at 9 p.m. CT. Coverage will be on Tide 100.9 and 95.3 The Bear.
