The Alabama Crimson Tide finished the 2022 season 11-2 and Sugar Bowl champions. The Tide will undergo its usual offseason roster management and coaching turnover but on Tuesday Alabama received news that an experienced player would be returning to the team for a fifth season.

Senior Justin Eboigbe took to Twitter and kept it short and sweet, tweeting "Back" to announce he was returning to Tuscaloosa for another season.

Eboigbe only played in four games in 2022 due to suffering a neck injury. Therefore, despite being a senior, he was eligible to redshirt and return for a fifth year at The Capstone.

The defensive lineman has appeared in 42 games during his time with the Tide, he's accumulated 59 total tackles with 4.5 for a loss and two sacks. He's also recorded an interception, deflected three passes and recovered two fumbles.

He was a 4-star prospect out of Georgia in the 2019 recruiting class, he committed to the Tide in 2018 over Arkansas, Florida, Georgia and others. His return brings experience and grit to the 2023 defensive line group.
