First Half

The first half of this basketball game is about what you would expect from two great teams. Clifford Omoruyi won the opening tip-off for the Crimson Tide, but Ole Miss was able to stop the opening attempt to score and got on the board first. Low scoring and a lot of good defenses as both teams have struggled to get a significant lead on the other. These teams have kept it close throughout this first half, but Ole Miss has yet to take a lead over Alabama since scoring at the beginning of the game. As the game continues, Ole Miss is able to find a scoring groove to put them up against the Crimson Tide 56 to 50 with 7:54 left in the second half. Tonight is the first game that Alabama has not scored over 80 points since the game against McNeese. The Ole Miss Rebels were able to come to Tuscaloosa and get it done against the Crimson Tide with an ending score of Ole Miss 74, Alabama 64. Alabama's next home game is January 21, 2025, at 6:00 pm against the Vanderbilt Commadores.
