Here’s How the Stars of ‘Yellowstone’ Are Saying Goodbye as Filming Wraps [Pictures]
Yellowstone is slowly wrapping filming on the much-anticipated second half of Season 5, and the stars of the show have been turning to social media to share their goodbyes to the smash hit show.
Several of the longtime cast members have said their farewells to Yellowstone by posting favorite scenes involving their characters, or shots of their final moments before they depart the famous sets forever, on to their next acting opportunity.
Scroll through below to see how the cast of Yellowstone are saying goodbye to the show as it wraps Season 5:
Kevin Costner (John Dutton)
Costner actually said his farewells to Yellowstone long before the show wrapped Season 5 filming. He departed the show before the final episodes began shooting after a scheduling dispute with producers, and he finalized that news in a post to social media on June 20, letting fans know that he would not return for the second half of the season.

Kelly Reilly (Beth Dutton)
Reilly has not explicitly said that she's wrapped on Yellowstone, but she does appear to be finished with shooting on the main set in Montana. She shared a post on Aug. 22 saying farewell to Montana as she headed to Texas to film on the 6666 Ranch there. It's unclear if she is still filming Yellowstone Season 5, for a rumored sequel or for a possible Season 6 of Yellowstone.
Kelsey Asbille (Monica Dutton)
Asbille posted a cryptic picture that appears to be her driving away from the set of the Dutton ranch on Aug. 16, writing, "To all our Y family past and present i love you forever."
Brecken Merrill (Tate Dutton)
Brecken Merrill also shared that he had wrapped on the show in early August, writing, "We had a good long run of it. That’s a series wrap for Tate on Yellowstone. Love you guys!"
Jen Landon (Teeter)
Jen Landon turned to social media on Tuesday (Sept. 10) to share her final moments on the set of Yellowstone and reflect on her run.
"Here’s a blurry selfie of me leaving set on my last day of the last season of Yellowstone," Landon wrote.
"Mound of paper towels for all the feelings. It was an incredible ride," she added.
Wendy Moniz (Governor Lynelle Perry)
Wendy Moniz turned to social media in August to share that she had completed her work on the show, writing, "Series wrap for me on Yellowstone and been having alllll the feels; sentimental, proud, grateful to name a few ... What a beautiful experience I’ve had here; just incredibly fortunate to have worked with so many talented, dedicated, and kind people since 2017."
Forrie J. Smith (Lloyd)
The real-life cowboy turned to social media to share an emotional thank-you video to his fans, as well as the cast and crew of Yellowstone, appearing to say goodbye to his time on the show on Aug. 30.
Ian Bohen (Ryan)
Ian Bohen shared a photo from Amarillo on Aug. 29, and while he didn't state outright that he was finished on the show, he strongly implied his role was done.
Paramount previously announced that Season 5 would bring Yellowstone to an end after Costner's departure. However, Puck News reports that Paramount has changed its mind about canceling Yellowstone, and that Cole Hauser (Rip Wheeler) and Kelly Reilly (Beth Dutton) are in talks to continue in their original roles in a possible Season 6.
Season 5, Part 2 of Yellowstone is set to premiere on Nov. 10 on Paramount.
