There’s One Thing Luke Bryan Will Never Do Onstage, and That’s a Promise
During a recent chat with Taste of Country Nights, Luke Bryan made a promise to his fans that he will never, ever go back on.
The "Drink a Beer" singer was discussing his recent battle with COVID-19, which caused him to lose his voice. He struggled through a June concert in Arkansas before deciding to just refund all of the fans in the crowd.
Because the one thing he won't do? Fake it — you'll never find him lip-syncing.
"At this point, I'll never dive into the lip-syncing world," Bryan, 49, admits.
"You'll always be hearing me, whether it's a little froggy or not."

So even if he's under the weather, if he decides he's well enough to perform live, he's going to give fans 100 percent, singing every note possible.
Reaffirming that, the highly-decorated country star adds, "I'll never try to fool anybody or sing around it."
In the past, Bryan has been known to let the audience take over if he's coming down with something or out of breath, holding his mic out to let them sing. He'd rather do that than pretend to sing over a track.
The "Strip It Down" hitmaker also dished an insider secret to TOCN:
"Sometimes you're so stressed about not being able to sing like you want to, if you tell the fans you're under the weather, it relaxes you a little bit and I'll actually just start relaxing and singing better."
Bryan knows his fans have his back, no matter what.

Though he had to cancel a few shows due to COVID, his Country Song Came On Tour is ongoing through Sept. 12.
How Many Headlining Tours Has Luke Bryan Been On?
According to Red Light Management, Bryan has headlined 8 tours in his career. That doesn't include his Crash My Playa annual concert or Farm Tours, either.
