‘I’m An American And I’ve Never Had A Big Mac’

Yesterday, I received a frantic phone call from my soon-to-be 16-year old urging me to bring home a Big Mac from McDonald's. The request was an odd one considering he typically prefers the nuggets so I inquired as to the reason for his sudden urgency.  'I just realized I've never had one and I'm an American,' he said.

'I'll do it but only if you let me record it for show preps,' I countered and he readily agreed.

I realized the time since my last Big Mac had been several years so I found myself ordering four Big Mac combos when I finally arrived at the drive-thru.
