High School Football, Hillcrest & Gordo Start REALLY Strong!!!

Hillcrest vs Demopolis:  This was a 42-0 halftime score with Hillcrest barely using Brian Robinson, the UA commit.  Robinson finished with only 55 yards and 2 Td's and Hillcrest proved they will be very balanced offensively this year.

Gordo vs Fayette Co:  This game is always a close one, but Gordo controlled the line of scrimmage all night it seemed.  Koy Chapman, Gordo's QB wearing the home green and #12 reminded me of a young Aaron Rogers.  Chapman led the #2 Greenwave to another win pushing his record to 27-2 as a starter.  Fayette Co struggled offensively and did manage a TD late in the game, but it was big home win for Gordo.  Next week, it's Aliceville at Gordo and this game may determine the region winner by seasons end.

Tonight's SLOBBER KNOCKER is.....

ACA at Northside:  I LOVE this match up cause it's old school vs new school.  Northside runs the ole wing T and ACA will spread the field looking for the mismatch.  Samantha, Alabama is ready for this one tonight I promise cause that Ram running game is hard to stop.  I think ACA has an advantage scheduling this one first giving more time to prepare for this offensive look.
