Tuscaloosa mayor Walt Maddox said more regulations is not the best plan for increasing covid numbers.

The mayor said DCH has 170 covid inpatients with 31 ICU patients.

The Tuscaloosa Police Department is operating with 68% availability.

The Tuscaloosa Fire Department is now equipped with new life saving equipment. Maddox says help is 5 to 6 minutes away in most cases in emergency situations.
