Flea Market Finds – A Kids Bench

My wife and I woke up early Saturday. We had decided Friday night that we were going to "get out of the house". We loaded up and headed to the Farmers Market downtown. We always enjoy browsing around there.We then decided to drive to a little flea market toward Moundeville. The first little booth we walked in had a stuffed Mickey Mouse for $5. Sold. I spotted a little kids bench in the corner and asked the man what he had to have for it. He replied 10 bucks. Sold. This bench is solid. It has an oak top (I think) not a piece of particle board on it. I plan on refinishing the top later. My wife was happy the blue on it matched Brody's bed spread.

We wound up leaving with the bench, the Mickey Mouse, a cookie jar,  4 patio pillows and a $3 neon sign. It was a beautiful day Saturday and getting out of the house and scoring good deals on stuff we really didn't need made it better!
