Just months after approving $98,700 to Barge Design Solutions to plan updates for Snow Hinton Park, the city Of Tuscaloosa is asking for public input on improvements.

Snow Hinton Park is known as Tuscaloosa's most visible park and has been the focus of the city for some needed improvements. Mayor Walt Maddox says "It's time we elevate" our Snow Hinton Park. The City Of Tuscaloosa is asking for input from the community on ideas to improve Snow Hinton Park. They've made it easy and created a survey to get potential improvement ideas, accompanied by a video presentation from Barge Design Solutions. If you'd like to take part in the survey for Snow Hinton Park click here.

Snow Hinton Park is one of my favorite to visit and my go-to exercise park. I've noticed the roads within the park could be improved, and updated pavilions. With all of the beautiful open space, I'd love to see some fields for sports to be played, there's more than enough space for it to be done. Some of the possible improvements include an outdoor fitness area, a dog park, updated pavilions, and community gardens. Nothing is set in stone as they are in the planning stages of making improvements to Snow Hinton Park. It's great to see The City Of Tuscaloosa asking for the community's input on park improvements. To me, it shows that they really do value the residents of Tuscaloosa and the look and feel of the community.
