Classic Jack O Lantern

I had a little help in my decision to stick with a classic Jack-o-Lantern in the inaugural "DJ" Pumpkin carving contest.

Brody was pretty excited and insisted we do a "real" pumpkin. We Googled "Pumpkin carving ideas" and looked through dozens of images. Brody settled on the classic because "it has triangles".  He wouldn't reach in and pull out the guts but had fun poking the eyes out! I'm not sure of the rules in this contest and I very well could be disqualified for having a partner. On a funny note, Brody quoted Linus from the Charlie Brown Halloween Special when I stabbed the pumpkin for the first time...he said " You Didn't Tell Me You Were Gonna Kill It".
