Saturday, June 18th was declared Lemonade Day by Tuscaloosa Mayor Walt Maddox and it was amazing to see so many kids participating.

From simple tables to elaborately made Lemonade stands, our area saw young entrepreneurs participating in Tuscaloosa's first Lemonade Day. Each of them took the first step in learning the business and life skills needed to set a goal, make a plan and work to achieve their dreams.

Kimberly Madison and myself set out early Saturday morning to visit a few of them and get on the good side of some of our community's future CEOs! We met a lot of smiling faces like Zion who offered a raspberry lemonade option and Isabella who made some pretty awesome pink lemonade and was donating her profits to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital!

Here are a few of those young business men and women we had the honor to visit and support.
