You Won’t Believe What Followed Me Through the Woods

Brody and I took a stroll through the woods on Sunday looking for old bottles. About 5 minutes into our hike, we heard the rustling of leave and an animal noise. I was pretty surprised at what walked up on us.

It was a chicken. Yep, a chicken scratching and clucking thought the woods. It wasn't aggressive at all. It simple started following us on our walk. The chicken stayed about 25 yards behind us and even "crossed the road"  after we did. It actually ran across the road which was kinda funny to me.

We weren't close to any houses really. I have never came across a chicken in the woods before. Do you think it just wandered off and was lost?
