A homeowner from Woodland Forrest held an intruder at gunpoint early Tuesday morning according to Tuscaloosa Police.  911 received a call at 4:25 a.m. from a woman who's husband held the suspect at gunpoint until officers arrived.

There were children asleep in their beds and thankfully no one was hurt as John Tyler McDonald, 26, was questioned by police and charged with second-degree burglary.   Police believe he may be responsible for other break-ins in and around Tuscaloosa.
