On the eve of US Soccer's match with Germany, fans gathered in Recife, Brazil, to celebrate the final game of group play when Will Ferrell made a surprise appearance.

US Soccer President Sunil Gulati took the stage to fire up the fans, first bringing up the Teddy Roosevelt look-a-like. He proceed to lead the 'I Believe' chant before Gulati took back over and introduced the team's secret weapon for Thursday's game. That's when the actor and comedian took the stage to a screaming group of fans.

Playing off the Luis Suarez incident from the day prior, Ferrell said he was willing do anything to help the Americans win their final game, even if that meant biting every German player.

The game didn't turn out the way fans had hoped, but the US is on to the Round of 16 to play Belgium on Tuesday.
