Today's Country Gossip involves a popular musician vs a popular venue and here's what went down.  (Deep Breath) Jamey Johnson's concert scheduled for Sunday night at the House of Blues in Myrtle Beach, SC, was canceled at the very last minute.  At 7:30PM  on Sunday night, the night of the show a Facebook message reading, “As always, the safety and security of our guests is our number one priority. Tonight’s artist refused to adhere to our safety and security guidelines and would not enter the building. Unfortunately, tonight’s show is cancelled.”

Johnson’s band members are disputing the House of Blues’ statement and about 2 hours later “TC” Coleman, Johnson’s drummer, wrote on social media, “IT DID’NT GO DOWN LIKE THAT!" The following day he released this statement....

“HOUSE OF BLUES DID’NT NEED TO TREAT US LIKE WE WERE TERRORIST. THEY PUT A MEDAL DETECTOR BETWEEN JAMEY’S BUSSES AND THE STAGE ENTRANCE AND THE ONLY PEOPLE COMING IN AND OUT OF HIS BUSES WAS US … WE ALL HAVE LAMINATED STAGE IDENTIFICATION. WE DID NOT COME TO HOUSE OF BLUES TO BE TREATED LIKE WE ARE GOING TO KILL THE FANS.”
