Why Was This Boat in the Middle of the Hwy?

I saw a few of these pictures on social media over the weekend. A Skeeter bass boat, without the trailer, was in the middle of the road in Northport. I need to know what happened!

There are a thousand things that could have gone wrong. There's no question that this episode ruined someones evening. If you know what happened or how we can get in touch with the owners of the boat, PLEASE reach out! I am confident that the story is great.
