Why Trains Stop at Hackberry in Tuscaloosa for Long Periods of Time

Trains are notorious for stopping at Hackberry during the busiest time of day. And for long periods of time. Usually when we are rushing to a meeting. Or when students are rushing to class. It can ruin your day.

Tuscaloosa Mayor Walt Maddox explains the issue.

"We were notified today of a mechanical failure and this will happen. We have taken action when and where possible, but we are limited by legal jurisdiction. NFS has been open to exploring solutions. It is a problem."
