The 24th Annual Whistle Stop Festival is happening on Saturday, September 26th in Historic Downtown Irondale. More than one hundred vendors will attend and feature art, crafts, and terrific food.

This event brings together artists and craft makers to sell and demonstrate their work to the sound of live music and various performances throughout the day. Vintage fire engines and fire safety presentations, carnival games for all ages, barbecue and funnel cakes – the organizers promise there's something for everyone.

The Irondale Cafe will be open for lunch, selling its famous fried green tomatoes.

The Festival runs from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
