UPDATE 8am 12/9/17

There is still a danger of icy roads this morning, especially on bridges and overpasses.  Temperatures should increase into the upper 40's this afternoon and continue to thaw icy spots and dry out roads, but remember it will be cold again tonight.  Be careful and bundle up.

The Winter Storm Warning and Winter Weather Advisory are in effect through 7am Saturday morning for our area.  Today's snow is leaving many roads slushy and wet and  temperatures are expected to drop into the 20's, maybe even into the teens in some areas.  That means we need watch out for icy conditions on the roads, especially on bridges and overpasses.

Sunshine will move in tomorrow, likely rising above freezing around 9am and rising into the upper 40's.

If you have need to travel tonight or early tomorrow morning, leave early to give yourself extra time, be careful and watch for patchy areas of ice, especially on secondary roads.
