The musical tributes keep rolling in, as artists continue to celebrate the musical brilliance of late icon Prince. The latest to show his admiration for Prince is Staind vocalist Aaron Lewis, who delivered a cover of "When Doves Cry" at a benefit show in Las Vegas over the weekend.

Lewis, who is currently touring as a solo artist indulging his country influences, provided a more sorrowful, country-tinged arrangement of the Prince classic for those in attendance at the "Our Flag, Our Country, Our Heroes" benefit at Stoney's in Las Vegas. The Sunday night (May 14) show was hosted by Randy Couture and it aided the Xtreme Couture GI Foundation for military vets wounded in action.

Lewis' Prince salute is one of many that we've seen since the music legend passed away last month. Corey Taylor, Chris Cornell, Pearl Jam, Dream Theater's Jordan Rudess and Evanescence are just a few of the artists who've taken on Prince songs as their show of respect.

As for Lewis, he's currently on a break from Staind and recently completed work on his third country album Sinner, which is expected to arrive this summer. He currently has tour dates booked into September. Find out where you can see him here.
