Alabama senior Christian Miller earned SEC Defensive Player of the Week honors after his 2.5-sack performance against Ole Miss on Saturday, and he was back to work preparing for Texas A&M on Monday.

The linebacker met with the media to discuss his big night against Ole Miss and what it meant to receive the accolades.

"Anytime you get recognition, it's an honor," Miller said. "And I'm very honored but that's in the past and I'm looking forward and I'm even hungrier now."

He and the defense will have to stay hungry against Texas A&M on Saturday. The Aggies will present a different challenge than Ole Miss with a number of different looks and formations on offense.

"When you have multiple personnel like that and things they do, you just have to be ready for all of it. In practice, you just got to take time to focus on each thing but you only have a limited amount of time. So you just got to do what you can, prepare the best you can, and go out there and execute."

Miller also talked about playing in hot weather like we're expecting on Saturday, the challenges Kellen Mond presents, and facing another Jimbo Fisher offense. You can hear everything he said in the video at the top of the page.
