University of Alabama’s Quad Listed Among the Best in College

A local landmark has been recognized among the best in the country. A ranking along with Harvard, Yale and MIT. The only school in Alabama to make this list and the only one in the SEC. Lots of bragging rights for something many of may take for granted. The Quad.

UA's Quad is mentioned second in a list of the 'Most Beautiful and Iconic American College Quads.' A ranking by Business Insider, sharing:

Many of these collegiate spaces appear on the US National Register of Historic Places and are considered among the most iconic examples of American architecture and design.

No doubt, the most recognizable feature to our Quad is the 115 foot tall Denny Chimes tower.  An area flooded by Crimson Tide fans in the fall for some of the best tailgating in football!
