UA Student Arrested and Charged with Rape

Authorities are reporting that a University of Alabama student has been charged with rape at a fraternity house on campus over the weekend.

The encounter occurred when the 19 year old victim met the suspect, 19 year old Taylor Force at a Tuscaloosa bar. The two then went to Force's room at the fraternity where the victim reports Force had sex with her even when she told him no and was attempting to push him off of her.

The victim was treated and released from DCH Medical Center and after an investigation, police arrested Force and charged him with first degree rape. He was place in Tuscaloosa County Jail on a $30,000 bond and was released after posting that bond.
