Tyler Farr is giving his fans a glimpse of the upcoming video for his current single, "Withdrawals," before it's released.

The country singer will premiere the new clip on Monday (June 15), but he's released two brief teasers to fan the anticipation for the video. The two trailers show Farr underwater and surrounded by smoke, both featuring him doing some real acting as he plays out the agony of the song's lyrics.

The song is the second single from Farr's highly-anticipated sophomore album, Suffer in Peace, which debuted in the Top 5 recently. The album's first single, "A Guy Walks Into a Bar," reached No. 1, but "Withdrawals" is a big musical departure for the singer, showing off his classical vocal training with a chorus that stretches well into the upper range of his voice for a performance that is beyond the reach of most of his contemporaries.

That's a deliberate choice on his part. “I’d like to be — whenever I’m done and they put me in the ground — one of the best vocalists or one of the greats,” Farr tells Taste of Country. “It’d be nice to be known that way.” Along with "Suffer in Peace" and "I Don't Even Want This Beer," "Withdrawals" is a searingly emotional song that reveals a new side to Farr. “Some of these songs, I’ve put myself back in that unhappy place that I don’t like to be but you have to put yourself back there," he says.

That heartbreak is a far cry from Farr's own love life. He recently got engaged to his girlfriend, Hannah Freeman, after proposing to her at Nashville's hallowed Ryman Auditorium.
