Two Police Officers Shot Near Atlanta

The AP is reporting two police officers and one suspect have been shot near Atlanta at a DeKalb County apartment complex.

At 6:45, a call was placed to 911 reporting a home invasion and armed robbery. DeKalb police and Sheriff's deputies were dispatched to the scene. Capt. Steve Force said at least two suspects fired on police when law enforcement officials responded to the scene. Officers returned fire and one suspect was struck and later transported to the hospital with non life threatening injuries.

The non-injured suspect is still on the loose and considered armed and dangerous.
