Tuscaloosa Standoff Hour 6, Family Members on Scene to Help

The Tuscaloosa standoff between a shooting suspect and police has been going on for nearly SIX hours.  SWAT team members have been positioned outside of a home of a man believed to have shot his wife and his grandson around 12noon today.

Family members were called in about 5:45 to try to resolve the situation. Tuscaloosa Police Chief Anderson is trying to keep the situation calm and positive.  Several family members are standing on the porch pleading for this to stop.
